The Hunter Ageing Alliance is pleased to introduce a Free eBook on End of Life Law in Australia, developed by the legal experts at Catherine Henry Lawyers.

End of life law covers legal issues that are relevant to medical decisions made at the end of life. It is law that regulates the discussions that take place in these later stages, as well as the planning and processes undertaken either before this time or before a person has a life-limiting illness or injury. In Australia, the legal framework regulating end of life decision-making incorporates policies on advance care planning as well as advanced care directives and, more recently, voluntary assisted dying.
