You’re invited – action on housing, community voice and energy!
This assembly will focus on affordable housing, the Hunter’s voice, and energy transition.
This is about people having a say in decisions that affect them and their families. We are a non-partisan organisation and take no government funding. Our membership is connected to over 250,000 people in the Hunter region.
You’ll hear testimonies and the case for action on the issues. The first confirmed decision maker is NSW Minister for Housing, Rose Jackson. We will be asking her to commit on our funding asks related to the 2024-2025 budget. Register here.

Cross-generations: We are encouraging all participants to bring people from across generations – from our older people to our youngest. The HCA is about intergenerational equity beyond the election cycle. Register here.
Cross-organisations: Who from your workplace, union, congregation, or neighbourhood should come? Who has a passion for fixing the issues of housing and energy transition; or simply that the Hunter needs to be taken seriously by those in government.
